So beautify. So enchanting. Yet, Nature is what Nature is: raw, majestic and honest. You do not see nature trying to trick you into believing that it is anything but what it is. Traveling through Yellowstone NP has brought back a sense of wonder and a belief that slow and steady do "win" in life. A slow river becomes a magic waterfall. You may think Nature is deluding you with the peaceful river before the giant fall takes you for a ride. However, Nature requires you to be ever viligent. There are no signs posted by Nature that says you are coming up on a fall. She expects you to study her. Become acquainted with her uniqueness. Respect her ability to provide beauty in her sphere.
As humans, we sometimes delude ourselves that because we are at the top of the foodchain, we are also in charge of all that we see. That we can control all that we can see. This is the reason many die as they try to prove their superiority. They do not take into consideration that they do not control Nature. Nor does Nature control humans. Nature is here. She is a hard taskmaster. Learn her rules. Follow them and live to see another day. Begin to believe that you can conquere her and you may not see another day.
An epithat could read: Here lies another arrogant human. Nature had the last word.
Respect Nature.
Reach out to bring yourself in tune with her.
Love the opportunities to study her.
Enjoy all she offers.
Remember that she is everchanging and you must be in constant communication with her.
Live to see her another day.
